Dr. Gamburg is the Medical Director of Cross River Pain Management PC and completed his training at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in NYC in 1998 he is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Interventional Pain Management. During the past eight years he has been in the forefront in teaching and development of minimally invasive technologies for the treatment of back pain.


His practice is focused on treating spinal pain from arthritis, nerve impringement, spinal stenosis, surgical scar tissue, herniated discs, shingles, muscle pain, facet joints, whiplash injuries and neck pain. In addition to providing consultation services to other physicians he diagnoses and treats spinal and nerve conditions using minimally invasive techniques with the aid of the latest state of the art imaging technology. He performs over 3,000 procedures a year with significant improvement in greater than 80% of his patients. He was one of the first physicians in the country to perform percutaneous disc removal using coblation energy. He also performs facet nerve and sacroiliac radiofrequency using unipolar and bipolar techniques. In his practice he has performed over 25,000 procedures usually lasting from 30 to 60 minutes with the ability of patients to return to normal activity usually the following day.
